Your local guide Cam has years of experience on charter boats, commercial fishing and tour guiding. On an ‘On Your Boat’ fishing trip you’ll learn new fishing tips and techniques, find good spots for your target species, brush up on safe anchoring, understand the art of drifting, and discover more about navigation and electronics – all whilst you’re kept rigged and baited so you have an easy and enjoyable fishing experience.

Guided FULL DAY TRIPS are a minimum of 10 hours, departing from Bundaberg, and 1770. We like to set off early to make the most of the day and to get that first bite. OVERNIGHT AND MULTI NIGHT TRIPS leave from Bundaberg, 1770, Gladstone and Turkey Beach. Overnighters give you the maximum opportunity to make the most of your time and fuel costs, the opportunity to head out further, and the chance to enjoy the Reef and all it has to offer.
All of our fishing tours can include snorkelling, spearing, and island walking. The Reef itself is too amazing for it not to be the focus of you being out there! You can bring your water toys to make the most of this once in a lifetime experience e.g. SUPs, kayaks, surfboards, tow boards, inflatables and definitely don’t forget your snorkelling gear.
Boats heading to the Reef must be a minimum of 5.5 meters. Smaller boats and tinnies have the opportunity to fish inshore, and our guide can also take you camping by tinny for an amazing overnight experience. For larger boats and liveaboards, we can accommodate EXTENDED GUIDED TRIPS (minimum 5 nights) departing from areas such as Stanage Bay, Shoal Water Bay, Yeppoon and the Whitsundays.

FISHING STYLES include:

  • Bottom fishing
  • Sport fishing
  • Fly fishing
  • Spear fishing
  • Creek fishing

**Please note** We support sustainable fishing and respect the amazing eco-system of the Southern Great Barrier Reef. With the popularity of fishing the Reef and the increase of sharks, we are noticing a decline in fish stocks, and we are trying not to add to the pressure. Our trips are not about filling your Esky to the brim, but only take what you need, not what you can.

Bookings are weather dependent. If we have to cancel, we’ll rebook when there is a better weather window.
